Myself Dr. SRINIVASA RAO VINJAMURI MS, MCH. Specialist in Neuro Surgery and consultant Neurosurgeon in Bhimavaram Hospitals since 2013. After my post- graduation,I Pursued MCH from the prestigious NIMS(Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences) Hyderabad.

I was born in Mangalagiri Town of Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh in 1981. Schooling up to 10 th class (SSC) at SKVS OHS School and Intermediate at CK Junior college, Mangalagiri Guntur District.

Secured state 15 th rank in AP EAMCET in the year 1999.Did MBBS at Guntur Medical College from December 1999 to December 2005. Later got a state 130 th rank in the PG entrance test and opted for M.S(Master of Surgery) from Guntur Medical College from (May 2006 to May 2009).

After Post graduation, Worked as an Asst. Prof of General Surgery at NRI Medical College and Hospital from July 2009 to April 2010. Has a special interest in Neuro Surgery. I secured 2 nd rank in Superspeciality MCH entrance test conducted by NIMS Hyderabad in the year 2010.

Worked as Senior Resident in the department of Neurosurgery in NIZAM’S INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES(NIMS) Hyderabad from September 2010 to September 2013.

Also got Pratibha Award for outstanding performance in Education. One of best neurosurgery specialists in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.So far has done more than 3000 surgeries till now.

Dr.V.SRINIVAS RAO was dedicated to providing services to all neurological and neurosurgical emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week at Bhimavaram Hospitals, particularly trauma and stroke patients.

With well-trained staff, Will provide Good ICU care to patients.

Had performed all modalities of neurosurgery:

  • Intracranial tumours include tumours of the skull base.
  • Endoscopic brain surgery such as ETV, Colloid cyst excision, tumour decompression, and so on.
  • Neurovascular procedures such as aneurysm clipping and AVM surgery.
  • Spine surgeries include fusion/fixation of the cervical, dorsal, and lumbar spines.
  • Microdiscectomy.
  • Emergencies such as trauma, stroke, and vascular surgery, among others.
  • Congenital defects such as meningocele, encephalocele, and aqueductal stenosis surgeries (Shunt surgeries).
  • Skull base repair, such as ACF carpeting.
  • Cranioplasty.

Also had extensive experience with polytrauma cases and emergency laparotomy for trauma patients.
